Crawford Stadium Spectator Information

Spectator Expectations

  • Treat all fans, participants, and athletes with respect.
  • Show respect for the game officials and refrain from booing their decisions or interfering with their control of the contest.
  • Showing respect for visiting players and injured athletes, by not booing participants on the playing area, and by respecting property.
  • Vulgarity and indecent gestures are unacceptable.
  • Use only positive cheers, signs, and praise without antagonizing or demeaning visiting teams and fans.
  • Recognize outstanding performances on either side of the playing field.
  • Know the rules and strategies of the game in order to cheer at proper times.
  • Maintain enthusiasm and composure, serving as a role model to our younger knights.

Ejection

  • Individuals who violate established regulations, cause a disturbance or disruption to the event, or otherwise present a safety or security risk may be ejected from the event and asked to leave school grounds.
  • Event organizers, school officials, game officials, and security personnel have the authority to eject a person from an event.
  • A person who is ejected from an event may not re-enter that event. The individual should contact the NPHS principal or designee to discuss their attendance at future events.
  • The identity of persons ejected from an event will be documented by security personnel. Repeat offenders may be barred from future events at the discretion of school officials.

Spectators / Event Attendees Search

Those attending an event at Crawford Stadium may be subject to screening by security personnel in order to prevent dangerous or prohibited items from entering the stadium facility. 

  • High school students and middle schools students with an adult must show their school issued ID to purchase a ticket to enter the game through the student gate.
  • Students in middle school or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a ticket in order to enter Crawford
    Stadium.
  • Screening may be conducted visually or with the assistance of metal detection equipment. 
  • Screening will be conducted only by security personnel.
  • Children (12 and younger) may not be screened at the discretion of security personnel, and small children (6 and younger) will not be screened.
  • Spectators refusing to be screened will be denied access to the event and asked to leave the premises.
  • Students in middle school or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult at the time of entry to the event and during the event.
  • Spectators must be fully clothed with a shirt and footwear while in the stadium. Bodypaint does not qualify in lieu of a shirt.
  • Once spectators leave the stadium, there is no re-entry.

Prohibited Items

Spectators or event attendees are prohibited from bringing the following items inside the stadium

  • Alcohol
  • Controlled substances
  • Weapons
  • Flammable liquids
  • Fireworks
  • Drones (UAVs)
  • Illegal items
  • Coolers
  • Bags (In accordance with bag policy)
  • Glass containers
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Tents
  • Chairs (Bleacher seats are permitted)
  • Bicycles
  • Tools
  • Laser pointers
  • Air horns and noisemakers
  • Other items deemed dangerous at the discretion of school officials

Animals are not permitted inside the stadium, with the exception of service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Bag Policy

  • Students are not permitted to bring schools bags or other large bags that are not considered a purse.  
  • Those attending an event at Crawford Stadium are discouraged from bringing any type of bag with them. Large duffle bags and backpacks are not permitted to be brought inside the stadium.
  • Smaller bags such as purses and camera bags, as well as medically necessary bags, are permitted and may be searched by security personnel prior to entry in order to prevent dangerous or prohibited items from entering the stadium facility.
