Mr. Donald Walsh - Assistant Principal

Mr. Walsh is a graduate of North Penn High School and earned his undergraduate degree from LaSalle University in Elementary and Special Education.  In 2002, he earned his master’s degree from Gwynedd Mercy College in Educational Leadership.


Mr. Walsh began his educational career at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School where he was a learning support teacher and boys swim coach.  He returned to his alma mater in 2000 teaching special education and working with the athletic department. In 2004, Mr. Walsh transitioned to assistant principal at NPHS. Four years later, Mr. Walsh began working at Lower Merion High School where he served as the activities/athletic director for ten years.  In 2018, Mr. Walsh returned to the North Penn School District undertaking various roles until returning to North Penn High School as an assistant principal in D103 which was his home office as a student.  


Mr. Walsh resides in the North Penn/Souderton Area with his wife, three boys and dog.  He enjoys spending time with family, watching his sons participate in various activities ranging from sports to theatre, and relaxing with friends.
