Dr. Sara Rattigan graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Secondary Education English in 2010. She began her teaching career at West Chester East High School immediately after graduation, where she was also a class advisor, lacrosse coach, PLC team leader, SAT teacher, and class advisor. In 2012, she earned her Master’s degree at Cabrini University; in 2018, she earned her Doctoral Degree at Immaculata University. At North Penn, Sara oversees the summer school program, Link Crew, dual and concurrent enrollment, SATs, PSAT's, and AP exams, and will also be involved with student discipline and teacher evaluations.

Sara is married to Stephen Rattigan and they have one daughter, Lena Mae, who they describe as happy, adventurous, and strong-willed. They also have a Newfoundland, Charlie, and a Main Coon, Frankie, who keep the family on their toes. Sara and Stephen enjoy exploring new cities, spending time with friends and family, and most importantly, watching Lena discover the world. Sara is excited to be one of the Junior Assistant Principals and looks forward to building relationships with students and parents.
