Lifeguard Training

Participants must be 15 years old before the last scheduled class session. To participate in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, you must be able to do the following:

1) Swim 300 yards continuously demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing. You may swim front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both.
2) Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only. Hands will be placed under your armpits.
3) Complete a timed skilled event. 

Professional CPR/AED are taught as part of this course. All fees for manuals, materials and certifications are included in the course fee. Must have a minimum of 6 participants to run the class.

Sessions fill quickly and enrollment is limited. 
Registration begins in January 2020.
