Superintendent Dr. Curt Dietrich's 2021-2022 Goals

Goal 1:  Coordinate the development, deployment, and communication of action plans designed to safely and effectively provide instruction to students during the Covid-19 pandemic including:

  • Working directly with Montgomery County Office of Public Health and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia regarding Covid-19 protocols
  • Expanding efforts to provide for mental health needs of our students 
  • Using available tools such as Rapid Antigen Testing
  • Continuing the use of data dashboard reporting
  • Maintaining meals for families throughout the school district through the food distribution program
  • Ensuring internet access for all families so that all students have access to an equal education

Goal 2:  Lead the district’s vision for educational equity through the fair and just allocation of resources, opportunities and treatment through:

  • Expanding the efforts to develop district practices that support an inclusive, culturally responsive environment that guarantees equity and access
  • Identifying and addressing barriers which cause achievement and opportunity gaps
  • Recruiting, hiring and retaining a workforce more closely resembling the diversity of our students

Goal 3:  Develop and deploy programs to increase the superintendent’s communication with employee and community groups including:

  • Coordinating community forums
  • Engaging employees through Conversation with Curt, Community Conversations

Goal 4:  Develop and deploy a plan to expand the provision of data and information to our school board for policy setting, deliberations, and discussions including:

  • Planning for long range facility needs including renovation to North Penn High School
  • Conducting a comprehensive review of board policies
  • Piloting of program to increase number of substitute teachers 

The NPSD Board of School Directors concluded the performance assessment of NPSD Superintendent Dr. Curtis Dietrich and determined that he met or exceeded all objective performance standards for the 2020-2021 school year.
